I spent 3 nights at this charming hotel from 1st to 4th December arriving at around 1 pm and received a welcoming mint tea. I was given a local map by the lovely lady on reception together with advice about taxis and busses. Really you should only pay around 100Dh for the Taxi from the airport during daytime - I paid more than double that. Taxi into town during the day should be 20 Dh and 40 at night. My room was comfortable and equipped with a small fridge and air con unit that also provided heating. The bathroom was clean although the shower was leaking - but this was repaired when I mentioned it.I asked advice about dinner venues and was told about restaurant called Zelig which was really good and a cultural show which was also good (but partly outside and therefore cold and I hadn’t brought the right clothing with me).Breakfast at the hotel was fine - pastries, boiled eggs, coffee etc, although in my second morning I had breakfast at L’Adresse cafe which was very good. There is an amazing bakery on the corner near the hotel - Amoud - which is well worth a visit. There is a spar opposite McDonald’s - Spa Estheticism which is very good. There is a bar at the hotel which serves a limited range of alcoholic drinks - lager and some spirits. Overall this hotel offers really good value for money and I would go back again.

Overall a beautiful spacious hotel with lovely staff especially Hajiba and Laila who made us very comfortable and answered all our questions as well as directed us to places around the hotel. I would like to add a special thank you to Hajiba for dealing with our transport and updating us regularly. The best thing about the hotel is that the bus stop is located just 2 minutes it’s away, which goes to jama el fena for only 4 dirham. I found this very convenient and a cheaper way to travel. Also there is a small convenience store round the corner as well as lots of eating places. Downfall of the hotel is the breakfast could be more better, there wasn’t much choices and no fruits either. Also the hotel needs to be maintained better as I found draw knobs were falling off and also cleaning around the hotel can also be improved. Overall me and my family had a lovely relaxing time there.

When in Marrakech you need to have a balance, the Marrakech House is a mid ranged priced hotel, we paid £25 per night, yes the hotel is a little dated but the room was a great size, the power shower would knock you off your feet. Breakfast at UK / European standards was poor, but this is Marrakech so in fact it was a very good breakfast, the normal bread and jam an Marrakech breakfast was supplemented with pancakes and the odd Danish pastry so an effort is being made. It’s a little out of town which has its pros and cons but the local taxis are great. Don’t let the odd poor review of taxi drivers ripping you off, turn you away from using them. We used them three times a day for a week and had great friendly service, never metered but the driver telling us to give what we could afford. (No average we paid 50Dr (£4) for a 20 minute ride into the centre) or it’s an hours walk which we did twice and felt very safe at all time, once was 11pm at night.If you want European high standards at a budget Marrakech price then yes your be writing a poor review, but if you want a clean, comfortable room at a great price then I’d say go for it.

This hotel is quirky and full of surprises. Built with a lot of love by a local family, it offers good value for money. The hotel was recommended to us by an expat. We were not disappointed. Breakfast was good and they made extra efforts to attend to our needs. The room was spacious and comfortable and the bathroom immaculately clean. I would recommend it.

Very nice place ( for us was a bit difficult to find it in the first night- is a bit of the street- GPS could not find the street name and directed us far, far away from the real address).When we arrive the desk crew was very polite, the men even deliver my bag to the room- what was very nice. The room was very clean and had conditioner. The room was cleaned every day and every day the towels was changed- for the amount of money I did not expect them to do it every day so I was very surprised and happy. The breakfast for me was just excellent. Fresh, very tasty buns, typical Moroccan pancakes. Four different kind of french croissants, two kind of homemade cakes, butter, jam, boiled eggs, Moroccan ham, coffee with cold or hot milk, Moroccan tea, fresh juices. I could not believed when I heard women complaint that there is not an omelet. For the money I spent for the accommodation I expected a really small breakfast and in this hotel the breakfast is fab. During our stay we went for the trip and two nights we slept in different places where we saw the dirt and poor breakfast served. In Marrakesh house you will eat a big, tasty breakfast and you will sleep in clean place with helpful staff around. I highly recommended the hotel to everyone who is looking for clean- I mean really clean place. Wi-fi is better close to desk and in the dinning room. There is a pool, but we did not use it.

We stayed at Marrakech House Hotel for a week and had a lovely time. The staff were very helpful and friendly. They always went above and beyond to make sure that we enjoyed our stay and got the best experience of staying in Marrakech. The reception staff were incredibly helpful and were on hand to help at any time and the cleaning staff were great. The hotel was comfortable, clean and nicely decorated. A very traditional Moroccan theme. The hotel has a nice vibe and good sized pool. Although it is situated a bit out of the centre, it's just a 15 minute walk to the Guilez (new town). There is also a bus stop just outside the hotel that takes you straight to the Medina. Plenty of restaurants in close proximity. We also got a lovely continental style breakfast at the hotel. Was very good value for money and we would recommend to anyone on a budget.

We went to this hotel for 7days in october. There was 7 of us 2 children under the age if 3.staff were great very friendly gave good advise and catered for my 2 young children. Rooms were cleaned everyday. Domestic staff were nice. Hotel was clean and had very rustic look to it great features. Pool was always cold so didnt use it. Breakfast is the only thing i wasnt happy with as it was the same food everyday and i couldnt eat it. FOUAD one of the staff was a very friendly happy and helpful person he was good with my kids especially maria. Anything we needed he would help with. Thanks to all the staff Hajiba, fouad, simo, hassania, and mohammed for making our stay very pleasent and enjoyable.

Travelling alone, I was unsure about which hotel to go for out of the myriad available in Marrakech, but I was super-pleased with my stay Hotel Marrakech House.As soon as I checked in, I was greeted by really welcoming staff who showed me to my cosy single room with a double bed. Two days later I was upgraded to a double room, which consisted of a very comfortable bed, a balcony, sizeable bathroom with large mirror (with an overlight - great for doing make-up). The double room had great storage, a safe, and was cleaned every day and replenished with clean towels and bathroom sundries - the cleaning staff are completely approachable and ever-so friendly.Breakfasts, while a bit limited in food options, were more than suitable if you like a morning coffee/juice and pastry! Traditional crepes are also available and I highly recommend having more than one of these!Dinners were delicious; meals ranged from lamb tagine, meatball tagine, Moroccan Pastilla, super-tasty lentil soup, an amazing homemade pizza and more - all finished with a refreshing mint tea and (the tastiest!) Moroccan fekkas biscuits. Friday was a treat as I was served cous cous, meat and vegetables with an accompanying soup - a traditional Friday dish in Morocco.The hotel is in Gueliz - a more modern part of Marrakech - and you can get a bus (the no.1) for 4 dirhams to the shopping area in Gueliz, and that same bus goes as far as the Jemaa el-Fna square too, which is handy. You can get a taxi but the prices vary depending on your driver (I paid 50 dirhams one time, 15 another) but the bus is so frequent and it doesn't take long at all. It's also not a long journey to and from the airport - 20 mins or so.Overall, nothing was too much for the staff at Hotel Marrakech House: arranging to serve dinner a bit earlier on my last night upon request; printing off my boarding pass; suggesting excursions, spa treatments, places to visit and how to get to them. At all times, I felt safe, comfortable and was sad to leave. And the interior decor is the icing on the cake - stunning, traditional Moroccan design at every glance. Highly recommended and I'd star here again in a heartbeat!
